There are about 40,000 figures all made from local clay

More than 7,500 people have flocked to St Helens in the first two weeks of an exhibition by Antony Gormley.
Field for the British Isles, said to be one of the artist's best-loved works, features 40,000 clay figures handmade by 100 volunteers in the town.
It is being shown in a specially constructed installation in St Helens College until 23 August.
The local council said 7,797 people from all over the UK - and parts of Europe - had seen it so far.
It is the first time Field has returned to St Helens since it was created in the town from local clay 15 years ago.
Gormley has described Field as "25 tons of clay energised by fire, sensitised by touch and made conscious by being given eyes... a field of gazes which looks at the observer making him or her its subject".
