The ftr is due to enter service in York in May

Residents will be banned from parking in the road outside their own houses when a new bus comes into use in York.
Instead, the council will spend 500 on each of about 100 homes to lower kerbs so cars can be parked on verges and some speed bumps will also be reduced.
A new ftr superbus is being introduced between the University and Acomb - and the vehicle is wider than usual buses.
People living in the Heslington road area say they will have to park in side roads when the service begins on 8 May.
Other roads affected along the number 4 route include University Road, Thief Lane, Turnmire road, Foxwood Lane, Tudor Road, Gale Lane and Cornlands Road.
'Extensive consultation'
Residents voiced their complaints when the council held a drop-in session to unveil the plans.
A City of York Council spokesperson said: "On those roads where parking makes it difficult for any buses, not just the ftr vehicles, to travel along the route in safety, some parking spaces will have to be removed.
"Residents are being given an off-street parking option instead wherever possible, and we have consulted extensively with residents on this matter.
"However, there are other areas along the ftr route where there is no need to do this."
The vehicles, also known as street cars, are a cross between a tram and a bus, with a familiar bendy section in the middle.
