Rescuers searching for a teenager who went missing on a school trip to the rainforests of Tena in Ecuador have found a body.
Aaron Goss, 17, of Rushden, Northamptonshire, disappeared on 26 July while swimming in a river with other students from Wollaston School.
Tour organiser Adventureworks said it had been informed that a body was found in the Rio Anzu river on Sunday.
But the company could not confirm whether it was Aaron.
'Inquiry started'
The company added in a statement: "Our thoughts and prayers are with Aaron's family, friends and all at Wollaston School and we will do everything that we can to help them at this distressing time.
"Our own inquiry into the events surrounding this incident has already begun, but will not be completed until we have been able to debrief the expedition leader and the assistant leader, once they are back home.
"It might also be necessary to obtain the views of independent experts."
Northamptonshire County Council said the 17 other students on the trip were due to fly back to the UK on Monday.
