Drivers have been warned to be vigilant following a spate of thefts from lorries on the A1 in Nottinghamshire.
Offenders cut the trailer cover of a lorry parked on the A1 near Tuxford and stole more than 900 boxes of toy dolls overnight on Monday.
Thieves took bottles of whisky from a lorry parked near Blyth on Tuesday and underwear was stolen during a similar incident near Newark on Friday.
Police have urged any witnesses to contact them.
Ch Insp Glenn Harper said: "The A1 through Nottinghamshire is one of the main arterial routes for long distance lorry drivers travelling to and from Dover.
