A mother involved in a collision in which four people died as she was taking her son and six friends on a birthday outing is to be prosecuted.

Nurse Angela Dublin, 45, of London Road, Headington, Oxford, will appear in court to answer four counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

The collision happened on Oxford's eastern bypass on Saturday, 28 May.

Those who died were 13-year-olds Josh Bartlett, Liam Hastings and Marshall Haynes and Howard Hillsdon, 21.

Mr Hillsdon was travelling in another car when the crash happened.

Mrs Dublin was left fighting for her life in hospital together with her 13-year-old son whose birthday it was.

She will appear before a court on a date to be set.
