Work to build a safety barrier at the scene of a crash in which four people died has begun.

The barrier is being constructed on the Oxford Eastern Bypass barrier between Kiln Lane and Horspath Driftway.

Josh Bartlett, Liam Hastings and Marshall Haynes, all 13, and Howard Hillsdon, 21, died there last year.

Work will take nine weeks and one lane in both direction will be closed for safety reasons. A permanent 50mph speed limit will also be introduced.
