The 1,400-year-old abbey attracts about 25,000 visitors a year

A museum which tells the story of a medieval abbey has been nominated for a prestigious arts award.
Dorchester Abbey Museum in Oxfordshire is one of ten museums and galleries from across the UK competing for this year's �100,000 Gulbenkian Prize.
The prize recognises "imagination, innovation and excellence" in work undertaken during the previous year.
The judges, lead by Professor Robert Winston, will announce a shortlist of four in April and a winner on 25 May.
The 1,400-year-old Dorchester Abbey is located in the village of Dorchester-on-Thames.
The abbey gets about 25,000 visitors annually while the museum in the adjoining Abbey Guest House, attracts about 5,000.
Run entirely by volunteers on a budget of �3,000, the museum houses collections and displays relating to the village and abbey.
