Plan for dialysis unit unveiled
Princess Royal Hospital
They are plans to secure cash for a permanent unit
Plans for a temporary �1m kidney dialysis facility at a Shropshire hospital have been unveiled.

The six station unit at the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, will treat 30 patients a week in converted offices.

Patients who need dialysis treatment in Telford currently have to travel to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

The hospital said funding will come from the Strategic Health Authority. The temporary facility is due to open in three months.
