East Sussex County Council asked for villagers' views on speeding
Cars speeding through villages in East Sussex will be discussed when parish councillors from across the county gather on Wednesday.

At a special meeting being held in Uckfield anti-speeding initiatives introduced will be discussed.

Future plans to cut speeding in rural areas and villages will also be talked over at the meeting.

East Sussex County Council has asked village representatives to say whether they are happy with current controls.

Specific topics to be focused on at the meeting include casualty figures and attempts to reduce them, speed limits in villages, investment in community safety and successes with existing anti-speeding campaigns.

The parish councillors will be meeting at Uckfield Civic Centre.
