Two passing fisherman and a police constable waded into the sea to help the girls.

Mr and Mrs Bland, along with Mr Anderson, also thanked the rescuers who had tried to save their daughter's life.
Hospital staff
In a statement they said: "Our daughter Jade was a typical fun-loving 12-year-old girl with a cheerful, bubbly personality whose life has been cut short by this tragic accident.
"We wish to thank everybody involved in the rescue of the girls particularly the fishermen and the police officers. We know it couldn't have been easy.
"We would also like to thank the team from the Freeman Hospital and the staff at North Tyneside General Hospital who worked extremely hard to try to save Jade.
"We wish to take this opportunity to warn other children of the dangers associated with the rocks at Seaton Sluice as we don't want any other parents to go through what we're going through at this time."
