LDV manufactures vans and mini-buses

Van maker LDV has announced new orders and more investment in its Birmingham-based headquarters.
Two years ago LDV was on the brink of collapse but was bought out of administration by investors and then sold to Russian firm Gaz last year.
Gaz announced a large order for its new Maxus minibus at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
It also revealed a 76% increase in Maxus sales compared to last year and 75 new jobs at its Washwood Heath site.
LDV manufactures vans and minibuses. It was set up in 1993 through a management buyout from truck maker Leyland DAF, which is now defunct.
It produces more than 13,000 vehicles a year at its Washwood Heath factory in Birmingham.
"We have new investment, new vision, new drive and most importantly new orders," said chief executive Steve Young.
