New swine flu cases across region

There have been 96 cases linked to an outbreak at a Birmingham school

A further 18 swine flu cases have been confirmed in the West Midlands, taking the total number of cases in the region to 109.

Thirteen more cases are in connection with Welford Primary School in Handsworth, Birmingham. This takes the total related to the school to 96.

The other cases include three adults, from Birmingham, Coventry and Telford, who returned from holiday in the US.

Two children with it have been linked to cases at Eton College, Berkshire.

The total number of people diagnosed with swine flu across the UK is 381.
