New chief for primary care trust
A new boss is in charge at West Wilts Primary Care Trust (PCT) after the resignation of the chief executive.

Stephen Golledge takes over from Donna Stiles, who has left to start a new life as a silversmith in Italy.

He is already chief executive of Kennet and North Wilts PCT and becomes acting chief executive of both PCTs.

Mr Golledge is likely to be in post until the end of the summer. The permanent job has been advertised and has attracted considerable interest.

He has worked in the local NHS for 12 years and was previously employed by West Gloucestershire PCT.

Mr Golledge joined Kennet and North Wilts PCT in October last year following the resignation of chief executive, Barbara Smith.
