The Duke of Edinburgh met award winners at Hillsborough Castle
Prince Philip has arrived in Northern Ireland for a series of engagements.
At a ceremony in Hillsborough Castle, he congratulated more than 75 young people who were there to receive their Duke of Edinburgh gold awards.
The awards were given out for completing expeditions and volunteering and skills-building programmes.
Later, he attended a charity function at a hotel in Belfast. It is the Prince's first visit to Northern Ireland since last May.
