Chancellor Alistair Darling calls former Labour ministers "ridiculous" for being caught offering influence for pay.
Mr Darling spoke on The Andrew Marr Show after a story in The Sunday Times revealed Stephen Byers, Patricia Hewitt and Geoff Hoon had all been taken in by a phony PR company.
