Accusations that MPs were paid to influence government decisions have been denied in Parliament.
Transport Secretary Lord Adonis dismissed claims he was involved in a secret deal over a National Express rail franchise as "pure fantasy", while Harriet Harman told the Commons that there had been "no improper influence" on government policy.
Former minister Stephen Byers has referred himself to the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner over claims he changed government policy by lobbying for businesses he was representing.
