A pub has devised a "survival kit" to help groups of revellers enjoy trouble-free nights out.

Staff at Revolution in Aberdeen said the kit should help people to avoid problems such as paying the bills, ordering taxis and remembering names.

Manager Anne Fraser said she hopes the packs will prove "really useful" to punters on their nights out in the Scottish city.

The kits will be handed out to groups of 10 or over who visit the bar in Belmont Street.

They include items such as a calculator to avoid rows over the bill and a number of taxi cards to help everyone get home safely.

They also contain a pack of tissues for mopping up tears, safety pins to patch up torn party outfits and plasters in case people suffer blisters after wearing new shoes.

Some blank name badges and a pen have also been included in the kit to enable everyone to remember people's names.

Ms Fraser said: "Office nights out, hen nights and stag nights are great evenings, but there are invariably a few hiccups.

"But our survival kit with its calculator, plasters, tissues, safety pins and writing materials should ease a few glitches."

"We are sure these unique kits will be really useful."
