Job security was a key factor for staff, the survey found

A Scottish university has been rated as the best scientific institution in
Europe in a poll.
An international survey among post-doctoral scientists found Dundee University was the best place to work in Europe.
The annual survey concluded that researchers rated their working relationships and resources above factors such as pay and job security.
Other key factors included facilities that allowed staff to pursue research.
On a global scale, Dundee University came third behind two institutions in
Canada, the universities of Toronto and Alberta.
The only other UK institution in the top 10 was Liverpool University, which
was placed at number 10.
Professor Peter Downs, dean of the faculty of life sciences at
Dundee University, said: "I think there are a number of factors that have
contributed to our ranking.
"These include state-of-the-art facilities, a commitment to sharing
facilities and expertise and pride in being part of a world-leading
institution."
