Your pictures: North east flooding

Struan Bridge

Heavy rains have brought flooding across the north east. Sheena Johnstone sent in this shot of a bridge on the A973 road in Strachan, outside Banchory.

Submerged car

She also captured a submerged car on the road. Several roads have been closed and motorists have been urged to take care.

Emergency crews have been searching for a man missing from a tractor in the River Don at Kintore. Picture sent by Ken McEwan.

Sarah Haugh took this shot of the waters rising high towards a bridge near Laurencekirk. The area is among the worst affected by the waters.

Floods

Nicholas Jarvis says the River Don has burst its bank at the Montgarrie Bridge on the outskirts of Alford, spreading across neighbouring fields and a new walkway.

Floods

Nigel Malloch took this picture of a road disappearing into the flooding near Kintore.
