Cannabis plants recovered in raid

Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of �450,000 have been seized from a business premises in Glasgow.

Police recovered more than 1,500 plants from the property in Whitefield Road on Saturday.

Detectives from Strathclyde Police said their inquiries in connection with the haul were continuing.

The seizure was part of Operation League, which targets those involved in cannabis cultivation.
