Leading authors for book festival
Christopher Brookmyre and Louis de Bernieres will be among the authors appearing at the third Inverness Book Festival this autumn.

Organisers unveiled the line-up, which also includes Easter Ross-based writer Anne Perry, on Monday.

Mr Brookmyre's books include Quite Ugly One Morning and Mr de Bernieres wrote the award-winning Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

The festival runs from 3-6 October at the Royal Highland Hotel in Inverness.
