Inverness Airport chiefs will discuss the survey findings with operators

A survey has revealed the demand for an air service to be established between the Highlands and Poland.
It has been estimated that Poles make up to 25,000 return journeys between Inverness, where they live and work, and their home country.
More than 2,000 people took part in the survey conducted by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE).
The strongest demand was demonstrated for routes from Inverness to Katowice, Krakow and Warsaw.
HIE found 63% of the participants were Poles living in the Highlands, 18% were Polish nationals still in their homeland and 10% were UK nationals living in Scotland.
The research found that the total number of return journeys made between Poland and the Highlands is projected to be between 15,000 and 25,000 each year.
Those who responded support the need for a frequent air service with as many as two flights a week to a number of Polish destinations.
