The salaries of a council's senior management and committee heads have been made available to the public on the local authority's website.
Highland Council has put a link to the information on the Your Councillors section of the site.
It shows chief executive Alistair Dodds's salary of £140,112.
For elected members, council Convener Sandy Park receives £37,880 and leader of the council's administration Dr Michael Foxley £28,410.
The payments include the £16,234 councillors' basic salary.
The dual role of depute chief executive and director of finance receives £115,995, while six other senior posts come with a salary of £105,450.
For councillors, most committee chairmanships come with pay of £24,480 and vice-chairs receive £19,962 or £16,234.
