A woman has started a new life on a remote island - at the age of 100.
Great-grandmother Rose Albutt has swapped her nursing home in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, to move 680 miles to the Shetland isle of Yell.
She is now staying with her son and his wife, who live there, and is looking forward to celebrating Hogmanay in her new surroundings.
Son Arthur said: "It's a pleasure having mum here and we are all very proud of her."

The centenarian fell in love with the small community when she visited 14 years ago.
Despite the long journey to her new home, which involved a flight from Birmingham to Aberdeen, then another to Yell, she insisted on seeing the local wildlife as soon as she arrived.
Her son said: "She is loving it. She has a great memory and remembers all about when she visited Shetland before."
Mrs Albutt, who has seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, was born in Balsall Health in Birmingham in 1906.
