Apology over isles ferry's delay
Northlink Ferry
Northlink said 243 passengers travelled to Aberdeen
The ferry company Northlink has apologised after more than 200 passengers spent almost 20 hours on the Lerwick to Aberdeen ferry.

The Hrossey broke down shortly after leaving Shetland on Thursday night and had to return to port.

It did not sail again until Friday morning, and did not arrive in Aberdeen until just before 1500 BST.

There had been 278 passengers on the service, and 243 chose to resume their journey from Lerwick.
