Runners dressed as Santa are raising money in Aberdeen
|
A charity fun run for entrants dressed as Father Christmas is to be staged in Aberdeen at the weekend.
The first Aberdeen Santa Run is being organised by Nairn-based WildHearts to raise funds.
Hundreds have signed up for the 6km jog, starting at Pittodrie Stadium on Sunday, and more places are available.
Mick Jackson, founder of WildHearts, said: "The response from the people of the north east to this has been fantastic."
More information on how to enter the Santa Run, which starts at 1300 GMT on Sunday with registration beforehand, can be found at www.WildDayOut.com or by calling 01667 451 831.
