Orders taken for brewery shares

BrewDog
BrewDog was founded by James Watt and Martin Dickie

A small Scottish brewery is selling shares in the business, it has been announced.

Fraserburgh-based BrewDog is launching the Equity for Punks scheme, and has also attracted two American drinks industry investors to take a stake.

A total of 10,000 shares are being sold for £230 each to raise £2.3m.

BrewDog has made headlines with controversial beer names and strengths, and recently launched a low alcohol beer called Nanny State.
