Video links will be used to connect groups in Dumfries, Lanark, Stranraer, Edinburgh, Campbeltown, Aberdeen, Auchincruive and Orkney.
The Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) event will be staged on 9 October.
The seminar will be chaired by the SAC's Professor Geoff Simm and will look at the challenges facing dairy farmers and how they can be overcome.
The main theme of the event is "what you need to consider if you want to be in business in five years' time".
Speakers will talk about dairy systems, farming in the Netherlands and financial issues.
