Downing Street has launched a Welsh version of its website containing information about the UK government and the work of the prime minister.
A spokesman said they wanted to make the site "more accessible" and that they were in the process of translating it into a number of languages.
The Welsh pages feature Gordon Brown's biography, the history of 10 Downing Street and the cabinet's history.
The spokesman said they were "delighted" Welsh featured on the site.
"Our website has proved very popular and we are keen to make it more accessible to people in the UK and around the world," the Downing Street spokesman said.
"Translating the site into a number of different languages is an important step in that direction, and we're delighted to add Welsh to that growing list."
Also featured is a Welsh-language version of the process of law making and legislation and information about past British Prime Ministers.
The site refers to the 2001 Census which stated 567,152 people said they could read Welsh.
