3,000 adults are already learning Welsh in mid Wales

A new centre for teaching adults Welsh has been launched at Aberystwyth University.
The Mid Wales Welsh for Adults Centre will coordinate classes in 60 towns and villages across Ceredigion, Powys and Meirionnydd.
It is one of six regional centres backed by the Welsh Assembly Government and Welsh Language Board.
Director Sion Meredith said it looked forward to supporting every learner in efforts "to learn Welsh fluently".
He added: "Our vision is to see many more people crossing the bridge of becoming fluent speakers."
The centre will oversee classes which already involve 70 tutors and 3,000 students across mid Wales.
The partnership includes Ceredigion Council, the Workers' Educational Association, Coleg Harlech and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor.
Professor Noel Lloyd, vice-chancellor of Aberystwyth University, said the launch of the centre was "an important milestone".
