Coventry Musical Theatre Society stage a performance of Return To The Forbidden Planet from 18-21 April. The cult musical received one of its first runs at the Belgrade in 1989, then going on to run in the West End for three years. The show is loosely based on Shakespeare’s The Tempest and features over twenty well known Rock n Roll hits from the 50’s and 60’s. Coventry Musical Theatre Society recently won the NODA Best Regional Production award for their November 2006 production of The Scarlet Pimpernel.
