He's The People's Champion, The Brahma Bull or even - and stop us if this gets too much - The Great One. But wrestler-turned-thesp Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is now more at home on a film set than in the ring after his breakthough action pic The Scorpian King led to more interesting roles in buddy caper Welcome To The Jungle, revenge pic Walking Tall and, of course, to his crooning cowboy of a gay bodyguard in Be Cool. Now, however, he's back doing what he does best: kicking ass in videogame adatpation Doom, as one hell of a mean Marine sent to a base on Mars to sort out a little local trouble.

WATCH: The Rock on big, big guns, playing the baddie and his new pic with Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly.

Doom is released in UK cinemas on Friday 2nd December 2005.
