Director Jim Sheridan put Irish cinema on the map (along with Daniel Day Lewis) in Oscar-nominated dramas My Left Foot (1989) and In The Name Of The Father (1993). More recently, In America (2002) drew a portrait of Irish immigrants living in New York, but with his latest film, Sheridan tries something completely different. Get Rich Or Die Tryin' stars rapper 50 Cent in a story loosely based on his drug-dealing past.
