Smash musical Hairspray sees larger-than-life teen Tracey Turnblad (Nikki Blonski) fight segregation in 60s Baltimore, largely through dance. As well as support from her parents (Christopher Walken and John Travolta - in fat suit and drag), she has help from best pal Penny (Amanda Bynes), cool cat Seaweed (Elijah Kelley) and heartthrob Link (Zac Efron). BBC Movies chatted to the young stars of the film.
