In January 2003 our magazine, website and radio launched a competition to find your alternative Oxfordshire. Partly so we could decorate our stairwell but mainly because we wanted to see another side of Oxfordshire, your side.

We had a massive response and although the competition element had now finished people are still sending in their pictures for inclusion in our gallery.

You'll need to email your picture to us at [email protected]. Send your photos as JPEGS, Bitmaps or another popular image format (either from a digital camera, or by scanning your photo). Don't forget to include your name, and the place where the photo was taken - and don't forget to read the

Your picture will feature in our My Oxfordshire gallery, and will be entered into the competition.

Note: By submitting a photo and your name to the BBC, you grant the BBC a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to that photo at its sole discretion, including storing it on the BBC's servers and incorporating it in other works in any media now known or later developed including without limitation published books. If you do not wish to grant the BBC these rights, it is suggested that you do not submit a photo to this website.

You may not submit any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable photos, or any photos that infringe a third person's copyright.

The BBC reserves the right to select, edit and arrange photos submitted, and to remove photos from the BBC's website at any time at its sole discretion.
