Enjoy
an evening with Derek Acorah said the posters and we certainly did.
The star of Living TV's "Most Haunted" and "The Antiques
Ghost Show" kept the audience of mainly Most Haunted
fans entranced for more than two hours. It was a great success with
the spirits more eager to talk than the audience were to begin with.
Together we shared a very positive and amusing evening.
Fans
of his television shows may not have known what to expect. We didnt
sit in the dark and try to get ghosts to make a noise or move things
around. He needed the lights up to see the audience to deliver the
message to the right person.
He
chatted to Sam his spirit guide, and other spirits on the stage
then surprised us by bounding up the stairs to the balcony. He knew
the area to look and which person was right. He passed on observations
from the spirit world to friends and relatives in the physical world.
As
he says no proof is ever enough to convince a non-believer and no
proof is necessary for a believer. There must have been some people
who came away convinced by his messages from the spirit world. He
certainly provided plenty of proof of life after death.
There
may even be some who were still unsure. Those educated cynics who
need scientific evidence before they can trust what they are told.
Im convinced that the only ones who didnt come away
feeling good were the ones who
couldnt face the very long queue to meet him for signings.
Its times like these when I long for a press pass to wave
me through the crowd.
