Rescue teams attempt to enter hydroelectric tunnels
Rescue teams battling dangerous conditions after Wednesday’s flash flooding in Nepal have deployed heavy machinery, in preparation to enter hydroelectric tunnels where more than a hundred workers may be trapped. Overnight, rain and rising river levels impaired efforts early on Sunday before conditions eased.
