Landmark Meta trial in California

A court has heard claims Meta intentionally hooked a generation of children on Facebook and Instagram, as the biggest legal challenge faced by social media platform begins.

An Australian court is hearing the appeal of Erin Patterson, who was sentenced to life in prison last year for murdering three relative and trying to kill another.

And fears that the number of deaths could be sigificantly higher from the conflict in Gaza.
