Overnight rain delays the start of day 10, but the Indian fans look to offer their side plenty of support against West Indies after both sides lost their opening game
India win the toss and field first, and think they have an early scalp when Yusuf Pathan claims a slip catch off Shivnarine Chanderpaul, but umpire Billy Bowden is unmoved
Chanderpaul eventually holes out for 23 but captain Chris Gayle - who hit a century in the first game of the inaugural World Twenty20 in 2007 - launches an early assault on the Indian bowlers
India's fielding does them few favours - Gayle has a let-off when Mahendra Dhoni and Yusuf Pathan collide while trying to catch a steepling effort from Gayle, who also hits the biggest six of the tournament
But just when Gayle looks set for a second World Twenty20 century, he is run out for 98 with two balls of the innings remaining - West Indies finish on 169-6
Darren Sammy makes an early breakthrough for West Indies, having opener Murali Vijay superbly caught on the mid-wicket boundary by Kieron Pollard (not pictured)
Rohit Sharma points to his forearm and makes the "TV replay" signal after being given out caught - umpire Billy Bowden raises his finger but Sharma lingers at the crease, possibly landing himself in trouble with the ICC
India lose wickets at regular intervals, but some clean hitting from Yusuf Pathan and captain Mahendra Dhoni - who both hit two sixes - gives them hope of an unlikely victory
Dhoni is run out for 29 by a superb direct hit from Dwayne Bravo on the boundary - and with 32 needed from the last two overs, it proves beyond India's tail-enders as Bravo revs up the ecstatic Bajan crowd
India's 14-run defeat means they will be eliminated from the tournament if Australia fail to beat Sri Lanka - and the Aussies start badly as opener Shane Watson is bowled by Angelo Mathews in the first over
Australia lose three more wickets in the first five overs - Brad Haddin and David Warner are caught, while David Hussey is stumped as off-spinner Suraj Randiv picks up two wickets to leave the Aussies 30-4
Captain Michael Clarke is bowled for 14 to give Randiv his third wicket, but Cameron White and Mike Hussey set about posting a competitive total for Australia
White and Hussey add an unbeaten 101 for the sixth wicket from the last nine overs - including an incredible 62 in the last four. Sri Lanka need 169 to win - a result which would eliminate India
Australia claim a big early scalp as Mahela Jayawardene, the top scorer in the tournament, top-edges former Netherlands paceman Dirk Nannes to Steve Smith at fine leg for just nine
The pace attack of Nannes, Shaun Tait and Mitchell Johnson makes short work of Sri Lanka's top order - when Angelo Mathews is caught on the boundary, Sri Lanka are 49-5 after seven overs and staring defeat in the face
Sri Lanka fall apart in swift order, and when Angelo Mathews is yorked by Mitchell Johnson, they are all out for 87 and have been crushed by 81 runs
Australia are the only team with a 100% record in the tournament - and have one foot in the semi-finals, with one Super Eights game remaining against West Indies on Tuesday
