Ainslie is the Finn world champion

British sailors Ben Ainslie and Shirley Robertson won gold at the test event for the Athens 2004 Olympic games.
Ainslie won the single-handed Finn class with one race to spare, while Robertson skippered her three-handed Yngling to victory at the Agios Kosmas Olympic Sailing Centre in the Saronic Gulf.
Two other British crews won silver medals - Nick Rogers and Jo Glanfield in the 470 class, and Paul Brotherton and Mark Asquith in the 49er.
Ainslie won gold in the Laser class in the Sydney Olympics after settling for silver in Atlanta.
He then made a switch to the larger Finn class after his aborted stint with America's Cup team OneWorld, winning the European and World titles within a year.
"I am very happy about finishing first, even if the weather conditions were curious, like the races," said Ainslie.
"I believe that next year everything will be great. I absolutely want to be here next year and win again."
Sydney's Europe class gold medallist Robertson, along with crew Sarah Webb and Sarah Ayton, stole gold from under the nose of long-time leader Hannah Swett of America with victory in the last race.
Britain's other Sydney gold medallist Iain Percy, who switched from the Finn to become Star world champion with crew Steve Mitchell, won his last two races after a dismasting last week put him out of the medals.
