Oldham Roughyeds have signed former St Helens prop Liam Gilchrist. The 21-year-old came through the youth system at Knowsley Road and represented Great Britain students and has signed a one-year deal at the club. Oldham chairman Chris Hamilton told the club website: "He will have had good habits drilled into him during his years with a Super League club. "I've had a good chat with him and he is coming to learn and experience what first-team rugby is all about."
