At 6ft 6in, Heino Senekal is a towering but reassuring presence in the Namibia second row.
Now playing for Cardiff, he is a vital part of the team and one of his country's most successful rugby exports.
Senekal was born in Tsumeb, Namibia, but went to Bloemfontein's Sentraal High School, neighbouring South Africa, where he played for Northern Transvaal (now the Blue Bulls) Under-21s in 1995.
After making his senior debut with South Africa Technikans the following year, the hefty lock then signed for Boland and shot to fame as he made 40 appearances.
Transferring to Eastern Province Mighty Elephants, he was voted player of the season in 2002 before signing a lucrative contract with Cardiff last season.
This is Senekal's second World Cup, having played in all three of Namibia's matches in the 1999 tournament. He scored his country's first try against Fiji in the team's opening game.
