Did you know? Martens regularly pays for his air fare to play for his country

One of the stars of the Tongan side, Martens has proved himself as a top-class scrum-half.
A dynamic passer and solid kicker, Martens is a vital link between Tonga's physical forward pack and powerful backline.
At 5ft 11in he is also big enough to hold his own around the scrumbase and wade in with bone-crunching tackles when necessary.
The 26-year-old began his playing career in New Zealand, but has since become one of Tonga's band of roving international rugby professionals
After two seasons at Swansea in Wales, Martens recently moved to nearby Bridgend, which has just merged with Pontypridd to become Celtic Warriors.
Martens made his international debut in his team's 74-0 loss to Australia in 1998 and took part in Tonga's last World Cup campaign four years ago.
