At 19 stone, Lemoine remains a massive presence in the national line-up.
And the 28-year-old is one of the team's few world-class stars, having shone at English side Bristol before switching to France with Stade Francais.
Lemoine has helped grab the Uruguayans kicking and screaming into the professional era of the sport, having become the first from his country to sign a professional contract abroad back in 1997.
Despite his bulk, he has become increasingly agile in all areas of the field.
He increasingly developed as a class player under the eyes of former Springbok coach Nick Mallett at Stade.
