Spring officially starts on the day of the vernal equinox, which is 20 March this year. Have you seen signs of spring where you live?
This equinox marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring. It occurs when the sun passes the equator moving from the southern to the northern hemisphere. Vernal comes from the Latin word for bloom.
The Today programme wants to know if there are already signs of spring in your gardens, parks and streets.
