The musician Danger Mouse and the film director David Lynch are releasing an album - the only trouble is you can't buy it.

It follows a long legal dispute between the musician and record label EMI which threatened to derail the project.

Now Danger Mouse has released the album artwork - more than 100 pages of David Lynch's photography - with a blank CD advising fans to use as they wish. It means thousands of people have been getting their hands on it illegally via the internet.

Danger Mouse spoke to reporter Nicola Stanbridge about the musical and legal story behind the record.

This is an extended version of the broadcast interview.
