A taste of Tebbit

What is it like to be shot, de-feathered and cooked by Norman Tebbit?

The grouse shooting season started yesterday, on the Glorious Twelfth. One high-profile game lover is the former Cabinet minister, Lord Tebbit, who has even released his own cookbook - Cooking with Game.

Today presenter Evan Davis visited Norman Tebbit at his home and the feisty politician cooked his favourite dish, roast pheasant, which he says is an inexpensive and tasty alternative to bland supermarket chicken. The pheasant shooting season begins on 1 October.

You too can cook along with Norman in this video which features not just the method of cooking but the recipe, too.
