A small number of powerful scientists have been accused of deliberately vetoing publication of their competitors' researches into stem cells. Fourteen of the world's leading stem cell researchers have written an open letter to the editors of the major scientific journals saying that they are giving undue prominence to research that is "scientifically flawed".
