An iceberg said to be the size of Luxembourg, or Dorset, or Greater London, has been created in the South Atlantic after it broke off from the main ice pack. One oceanographer has suggested that a loss of oxygen to surrounding waters could be highly damaging but the overall consensus seems to be that this is interesting rather than dire. Professor of Ocean Physics at Cambridge University Peter Wadhams discusses whether he thinks the iceberg will pose any threat or disruption to marine life.
