A team of Scotland Yard detectives have visited Kenya as part of a new inquiry into the murder of British tourist, Julie Ward, almost 22 years ago.
Ms Ward's body was found in the Masai Mara game reserve but no-one has ever been convicted of her killing.
Her father, John Ward, told the Today programme that the new investigation "has started to come together," adding that he was "hopeful" of a successful conviction due to the the advancement of technology.
When asked about his thoughts of who may have murdered his daughter, "I have my own private ideas," he said.
